EARTH INSTITUTE NETWORK PAGE

This page is an Earth Institute Relay Network page. It is used to move us to pages in the education areas quickly. PRESS THIS BUTTON TO RETURN TO THE PREVIOUS PAGE

New advances in technology have brought about many changes concerning how information is transferred and courses are being taught.

A wide range of telecommunication devices is available to college students and faculty. Computers, Internet, e-mail; fax machines and chat services are used along with many other devices to bring information closer to its users. We are experiencing radical changes in our educational system and how we receive, perceive and disperse information. Our environment and our interaction with change are apart human evolution. The decisions made by humans and the evolutionary process of their culture must be carefully balanced so that neither one is ever out of control.

We will witness a new approach to teaching lab and lecture courses. No one will know what is in the cards until later in this new millenium.

We use both full pages and frame pages in this web site. Be sure to read both the frame menus and the page menus before you make a choice. You can always return by pressing one of the many, yellow, back buttons, available throughout the web site. You can get here by clicking the "notes" or "relay" selection on the bottom frame menu. There are no forward and back buttons on our database pages. Scroll down and click on the steel bar to return to this page.

Concerning information about updates and number of slides for each database always check the steel bar area near the bottom of the page. For best results in this web site Microsoft Internet Explorer browser is recommended, particularly for use of back, forward buttons and databases. When you need help with the database type "help" in the "Search for phto" box, then press the "find it" button.
